Fall TV: 6 Shows You Won’t Want To Miss

I love when a new TV season starts. Of course the big ones are Fall and Spring and a few good ones air in the summertime. All of these are shows which are brand new series!

Milk Alternatives- Beyond Soy and (1)

Blindspot (NBC)

The lead character, played by Jaimie Alexander (Does anyone else recognize her from Kyle XY? I used to love that show!), is a naked, extremely tattooed amnesiac that emerges from a duffel bag in the middle of Times Square, sparking a mystery that promptly FBI Agents who follow the road map on her body to reveal a large crime conspiracy and discover the truth about her identity.

Scream Queens (Fox)

From the makers of Glee and American Horror Story, this new series is a comedy-horror about a college that is turned upside-down by a series of murders. This series would not be appealing to me if it weren’t for the talented writers and creators that made this project-if you haven’t seen American Horror Story, you’re missing out, the anthology series is absolutely gripping. Besides the superb writing that both series have, the star studded cast brings a lot to the table. Arianna Grande, Emma Roberts, Jaimie Lee Curtis, Lea Michele, Nick Jonas, and KeKe Palmer are some of the many stars in the show.

Best Time Ever with Neil Patrick Harris (NBC)

So this is not the typical go to show for me. I like my shows to have a storyline that I can follow and get really invested in. However, I absolutely love Neil Patrick Harris, so I will give his new show a shot. This new series is an American take on the British TV show “Saturday Night Takeaway With Ant and Dec,” and will feature musical numbers (because he’s very talented!), skits, giveaways, stunts and more. In summary, it’s the Neil Patrick Harris Show- and who doesn’t love a little NPH?

Here’s a quick clip of what you can expect on Tuesday nights this fall:

Limitless (CBS)

This spinoff show from the film of the same name is set to release on CBS this fall with a recurring appearance by star Bradley Cooper, who starred in the film. It focuses on Brian Finch, played by Jake McDorman, who discovers the power of a mysterious drug which allows him to access 100% of his brain, called NZT. If you’ve seen the film you know that this story is gripping from start to finish. I was so excited when I heard that a spinoff TV show was coming-I’m sure this will be excellent.

Have a look at the trailer:

First Dates (NBC)

This reality show follows a couple on their first date and is brought to you by the one and only Ellen DeGeneres. This show is another take on the British show of the same name, which first aired in 2013. At the end of the date, the two people will decide if they want to go out on another date, or if they’d rather run for the hills. Sounds like an entertaining show!

This series is a reboot of the original Heroes that came out in 2006. This is the story of 13 people who come to realize that they have extraordinary powers and are blamed for a terrorist attack in Texas. After being blamed they hide out from the world, avoiding anyone with nefarious motives.
