It’s been a long time since I’ve posted, but I finally came up with an idea for a blog post that I thought would be fun to write so I’ve come back! Also, I’ve missed blogging a lot!
In January I moved to San Francisco and I’m enjoying living back here in California (and especially in the US!) For those of you who don’t know, I was previously living in Wales for a year and a half getting my masters degree in film.
Okay, now onto the fun part! The Summer 2016 Gift Guide!
I find that compiling lists of presents is really fun. It’s like window shopping from the comfort of your own home. There’s nothing wrong with looking, right? Unless you find something you just cannot live without. Sometimes it happens!
There’s a feature on Etsy that I frequently use called the treasury. It allows Etsy users to compile lists of gifts for other etsy users to see. I love doing certain colored themed ones. Today I did a list of Blue colored gifts! If you want to check out my daily lists of gifts, all you have to do is go to etsy here and follow me. You’ll get my gift lists and will also get to see when I add stuff to my store.
1. Etched glass water bottle
Anyone would be lucky to own this portable piece of art by Etsy seller CrystalDaeDreams. Man or woman would enjoy this beautiful yet practical piece of art. Buy it here for $19.
2. Agate Coasters
I’ve always admired the beauty of natural minerals and gems. Agate is no different with it’s deep purples and blues, such beautiful shades to accent your home. These coasters are a steal at $25, and are the perfect coaster to spice up the coffee table. Buy it on Etsy here
3. Cactus Enamel Pin
I love this cute design of a cactus in a pink pot. I personally would put it on cotton tote bag, or even a fabric based handbag. When I was in middle school I had this black Volcom Stone cross body bag and I collected enamel pins like this and pinned them on my handbag. This is a great inexpensive gift for anyone (even yourself! …Treat yo self!) Buy it here for $10
4. Mermaid Scale Necklace
I think this photo says it all. Look at the colors, they’re gorgeous! This makes a great gift for teens all the way to adults. Although I don’t recommend getting this necklace for grandma. I don’t think it would be her style. 🙂 Buy the colorful necklaces on Etsy here for only $5!
5. Mini Geo Terrarium
Succulents and Cacti are all the rage right now. Not only are they beautiful looking plants, they’re easy to keep alive and great to use to give a room some soft accents. This little terrarium is a great gift to give a friend. I personally was given a gift similar to this for my 25th birthday last month. My friend Jenny gave me a terrarium with several succulents that she designed and created herself. I’ll have to post a photo of it sometime. Find this terrarium at Urban Outfitters for $18
6. Cactus Candles
Okay, last cactus/succulent themed item, I promise. This is a great gift, I couldn’t pass it up. These can be gifted to basically anyone, which makes them a versatile option. The set of 6 candles is $16 with shipping on Amazon.
7. Cake in a Jar
Everyone loves cake, how can you go wrong by gifting someone something so delightful! These cakes are made to order and are shipped immediately to the receiver’s door. Pictured is Strawberry Shortcake. Indulge here , $36 for 4 jars.
8. Emoji Tote Bag
A great gift for a friend, this Emoji tote would be a great to use to grocery shop, carry books, use as a carry on for magazines, hold knitting materials and much more.Comes it multiple colors and fabrics and it is designed and created by ….me!!! There’s a photo below of what it will look like. They are made to order and I also do emoji paintings for $15 each. Stop by my store to see my art and go here to see the tote bag.
If you have a chance, please check out my Etsy store! I just got it really up and running and I’m having a blast. I’d love any feedback.
